Gary graduated from the University of Denver Business School with a concentration in real estate and moved to Aspen in 1977 to begin his brokerage career. He specializes in homes and condominiums in Aspen and Snowmass Village, along with properties in Basalt, Carbondale and the wider Roaring Fork Valley.
With estimated career sales exceeding $500 million, Gary brings decades of market knowledge and negotiation experience to every transaction. Much of his business comes through referrals and long-standing client relationships.

Gary Kelly is the best broker I have ever worked with in Aspen! Many years ago, we had a ski-in, ski-out house in Snowmass with a partner and wanted to unwind the partnership, forcing a sale. Gary quickly found a buyer for twice what we had invested after owning it for only a year.
The evening the contract was signed, at 10:00 PM, he showed me 34 acres on Castle Creek. We had to wear Sorels while walking through two feet of snow. It wasn't listed. Upon his good advice, I signed a contract in his car, closed, built a house and loved it.
He later sold the Castle Creek property to the person who had been trying to buy the land when I bought it. I was very happy with the sale price, how efficient Gary was and how nice he is to work with. My kids are still mad at both of us for selling!
